Belmont House is located on the slopes of the majestic Table Mountain, centrally situated in Oranjezicht, a district overlooking the City Centre. Six tastefully furnished rooms provide a warm and pleasant home-away-from-home, complete with modern comforts.
Built in 1924, this beautiful family home was converted into a B&B in 1988. Hundreds of guests have come through our doors in the 25 years since then, drawn by our great service and hospitality.
The City Centre is within easy walking distance, with all its attractions and landmarks such as Green Market Square, Company Gardens, Parliament, Long Street and the Jewish Museum. Belmont House is also within easy reach of the Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno beaches, shopping malls such as the V&A, as well as banks, restaurants and various places of interest. Explore the city on foot, by local taxi or organised tour. Your hosts are always available to make recommendations.
A good continental breakfast is included; all major credit cards accepted and children are welcome.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house. We also offer a laundry service upon request.
We have a small rear patio for guest use - you can even take your breakfast outside when the sun is shining!
